Last January we reported that, because Andy Whitfield had to leave the titular role on the Starz series Spartacus due to his on-going battle with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, Liam McIntyre had taken over as the new gladiator-turned-rebel, Spartacus.

Now EW.com has a few grizzled photos of the new actor from Season 2, titled Spartacus: Vengeance, due to premiere early 2012.
