WONDER WOMAN Action Figure Reveals Ares' Terrifying Appearance In The Upcoming Movie
The gigantic Ares which can be assembled after buying all the new Wonder Woman action figures has been revealed, and he looks set to be one of the DC Film Universe's most formidable villains to date...
It was earlier today that we learned who will play Ares in Wonder Woman, and now a first look at the villain has been revealed at this year's New York Toy Fair. As expected, the God of War is quite a bit bigger than Diana Prince and he looks pretty damn terrifying to boot. However, the similarities to his comic book counterpart are clear to see which is definitely a good thing.
The villain will reportedly be brought to life through a mixture of live-action and CGI, and his face is concealed beneath the mask. We can see something under there, though, but it could be that his face is some sort of special effect rather than you-know-who!
We'll just have to wait and see, but it's definitely a shame Ares has been revealed this way rather than in the new trailer, an official still, or even the movie itself this June. On the plus side, we do at least now know what to expect from Wonder Woman's big bad in terms of appearance, and you can let us know your thoughts on this design in the usual place!
