Battle Royale is a cult classic which for a long time was only available to US fans via imported DVD's. However, fans now have the opportunity to bring a screening of the movie to their town so that they can finally see the movie on the big screen. At the same time, they will also be able to get their hands on the variant edition of the poster (by Bryan Lee O'Malley and Kevin Tong) below. The standard edition will go on sale on Mondo's site at a currently unannounced date. More details on screenings and tickets can be found by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.

@everyone

I'm so speechless...I think I might tear. It's so amazing to finally be on sync with everyone on a post. I agree wholeheartedly that this movie is magnificent and hope this brings it the attention it deserves. Truly happy

This movie truly speculates the human condition well and is the same reason I'm drawn to survival/zombie movies. It makes you truly inspect "what you would do" in drastic circumstances.
