More From Kiefer Sutherland on the "24" Movie

Kiefer tells Jimmy Kimmel that he is looking forward to finally having Jack Bauer doing some well deserved cussing in the film version. And find out if Kiefer thinks the transition back into the CTU agent will be easy.

While promoting his return to Fox with his new television show "Touch" the actor most famous for playing badass CTU agent Jack Bauer is informing the public of the film adaptation that will begin filming in the middle of April. Interestingly enough when Kiefer was asked during a recent interview if it would be difficult getting back in to the role of Jack after the long layoff he sounded less than confident. He tells assignmentx.com, "Yeah, I’ll be scared to death the first couple days, but in all fairness, for me, that’s like going home."

While talking to Jimmy Kimmel he asked about the movie as well. He seems quite happy to be able to add a few saucy words to he repertoire. And don't miss his great story about Jerry O'Connell. His Stand By Me cast member that ditched his babysitter for a fair, and the groovy food he consumed that shutdown filming for a few days.

Yawn. I tried watching this show but, while it was a clever premise (one episode per hour) I couldn't get over all the stupid stereotypes of muslims and arabs, and the ridiculous flag-waving stuff (including all the BS where Jack Bauer had to put a gun to some guy's head to prevent the next attack). This show was really just red meat for people paranoid about 9-11 or who think that anti-terrorism should be all about shoot e'm up cowboy fantasy action. PS Can someone explain to me what the comic book connection is here? Is there a 24 comic book? If so, was it one issue for every hour?

@ vttopa

What are you talking about they went out of their way for the first four seasons to not have a muslim or arab terrorist.

@vtopa - I thought the show was dumb at first too but then started watching episodes during season 4 and loved it.

It's your decision weather you watch it or not but I love it, the last 2 season we're so-so but they have a full array of baddies on it, it's not just muslims.

I love 24 but Season 2 will always be my favorite. It is pitch-perfect and encapsulates everything I love about Jack Bauer and the series itself.

@vtopa - Out of 8 seasons only 2, 4 & 6 dealt with Middle Eastern terrorists. Also, one of those seasons had a terrorist voluntarily helping Jack stop another terrorist.

At the end of Season 7 Jack seeks comfort from an Imam when it looks like he's going to die. Season 8 had him trying to protect the leader of a Middle Eastern country from an assassination attempt.

I don't see any stereotypes.

And to answer your question:
