Avengers: Doomsday San Diego Comic-Con Trailer Leaks Online And It's Breathtakingly Epic

A new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was shown to fans at San Diego Comic-Con last night, and the sneak peek—packed full of epic footage and story reveals—has, predictably, leaked online.

Marvel Studios released the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer when tickets went on sale last Monday. That meant it was always doubtful that another would follow during Saturday evening's Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Fans in the building were treated to a new look at the movie, though, and now that the trailer has leaked online, we're left to wonder why this wasn't the one we got earlier this week.

While the quality isn't exactly 4K, it features new looks at several characters—including Cyclops, Steve Rogers, and Magneto—and opens with narration from Sue Storm, who reveals, "Victor was always the smartest guy in the room. He used to be different. He used to be kind; he used to be caring. Everything he loved was taken from him. I knew he was lost, but I did not realise that he was broken."

This confirms that Doctor Doom is from Earth-828, the same world as the Fantastic Four. As the sneak peek continues, we hear from Doom, who tells the heroes, "All of you have lived stolen lives. Now you must give them back."

Thor, confronting the villain, declares, "I swear you will beg for hell long before I grant it," only to have his blow from Stormbreaker stopped with two fingers. Doom then replies, "Hell answers to me, for I am Doom, " as a fleet of fallen Sentinels rises from the ground ready to battle the Multiverse's Mightiest Heroes.

Chills.

There's a good chance that this will be Avengers: Doomsday's next trailer, similar to how the CinemaCon teaser was released on Monday. Either way, the sooner we see this in 4K, the better, especially as it shows an emotional confrontation between Doom and Mister Fantastic, two characters we now know have a history in the MCU. For comic book fans, that's hugely exciting.

The leaked Avengers: Doomsday trailer is being pulled from social media, but you can still view it by following this link, which was first shared on Reddit.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Avengers: Doomsday stars Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, and Robert Downey Jr. Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway all make their Avengers franchise debuts.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps leads Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn join them, as do X-Men franchise stars Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, with Deadpool & Wolverine star Channing Tatum.

The Russo Brothers direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely, with whom they previously collaborated on the Avengers and Captain America franchises. The movie is produced by Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, and Jonathan Schwartz, with Callum McDougall serving as executive producer.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to be released on December 18.

Lolz at "breathtakingly epic"

It is the same and tired technique by the Russos since IW. Mash them all up together and fanboys will eat it up. 😂😂😂

I was reminded of that park scene in iw with IM, spuderman and that big thanos lietenant.

We ate it up giddily and did not notice how the whole park was void of any people all of a sudden.

This is the Russo's bread and butter. They cant set up an action scene outside of their soundstages and green screens. And this whole movie will be like that.

AI generators are abound with these types of contents. Pathetic.

Lolz, so that sentinel scene leak was real. And it has the same pathetic camera movements as that in endgame with the heroes stupudly doing their formation serving themselves in a platter for the sentinels 😂😂😂

And that Doom flying scene looks lazy and stupid. Look at how Whedon did flying scenes of Vision. It was practical and elegant

The Russos are pathetic 😂😂😂
