When Andy goes off to college, he leave his beloved toys behind and his mother, assuming he no longer has need of his childhood friends, donates them to the Sunnyside Daycare. At first, the toys are happy to have purpose again as the playthings of the daycare's children. But, it soon becomes apparent that they're very existence is threatened by the rough play of the rambunctious children and it's up to Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz (Tim Allen) to concoct a plan to break out of the daycare and return to Andy.
