Jason Momoa is more than ready to get going on his Aquaman standalone film. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter for his new Netflix series, Frontier, Momoa emphatically revealed that he'll begin working on the film in about four to five months.
"The standalone Aquaman movie, I'm really pumped about it. I start in four or five months so, a little bit of rest and then back into it. Justice League was amazing, but it’s going to be fun to have the arc and talk about this guy’s backstory and where he’s going."
Momoa admitted that he hasn't met his director James Wan yet, but when asked to describe his Justice League director, Zack Snyder, in one word, Momoa was quick to call him a "genius". Check out the rest of the interview in the video below!
Justice League releases on November 17, 2017, and Aquaman hits theatres on October 5, 2018.
