Ben Affleck took some time out of his busy shooting schedule to attend a Superman themed birthday party in Detroit, such groundbreaking news was later followed by an interesting tidbit suggesting Batfleck may stay a little while longer in the city as he may be shooting a solo Batman movie after shooting ends on Batman V Superman.  Unlikely though as Justice League is rumoured to be shot back to back.

Affleck may be spending a lot more time in Detroit after this year. The Latino Review reports the actor may be starring in a stand alone "Batman" film.

"The question is whether Affleck will direct the stand alone Batman film," Latino Review reports. "It is a good possibility since Affleck is now one of the studio's signature stars headlining as one of its signature characters whose last directorial effort Argo took home the best picture Oscar. Remember, Affleck's deal to play Batman took months for his agent at WME and attorney at Ziffren to close. Perhaps the contract contains a clause or a separate rider in his deal for directing services."
