Interviews with Batman Begins stars Christian Bale, Katie Holmes (pictured) and director Chris Nolan are now online as are details of recent shoots in Chicago and Shepperton.
Nolan explains why he chose realism over the fanciness of Joel Schumacher's take on the character. "This Batman is grounded in reality," he explains. "He has no super-powers; all he has is his wealth, which he uses to obtain the technology he needs to do what he has to do.
"This Batman remains in the shadows and is fuelled by a great deal of rage," says Bale. "He has tremendous anger. He's not a knight in shining armour, because of his personal need for revenge."
"I wanted to make sure that the Batmobile, like everything else in the film, is possible and believable," says Nolan.
Bale also reveals he's already signed up for two sequels.
