Chris Cooper on Why He Rejected Batman Film

Chris Cooper won’t be Commissioner Gordon but Morgan Freeman might in the new Batman: Intimidation movie.

Although he was hotly pursued by director Chris Nolan, Chris Cooper said he didn’t want to get involved in the Batman: Intimidation movie. "I read the script and decided the substance of the script and the character was not up to what I expected," said Cooper of the Commissioner Gordon character.

Morgan Freeman did say however that he’s considering taking the part.
