Kinda mixed about the pic. It's not bad, but there's something off about it.

On another note, I have a feeling where this thread is heading. Time to whip out the booze!

@cipher Got some booze reserved for you, dude!

This is silly. It wasn't even that good.

And I LOVED Begins and Dark Knight, but even those are not Oscar worthy.

Nope. It didn't do as good as The Dark Knight DID. If you don't like that statement- FUUUUUUUUUUU-_-CKK YOU! It wasn't great, barely good, and I LOVE Batman and the first two. It felt rushed, the Joker was badly missing, and it had a lot of plot holes. Taking out the Joker was like removing Michael from the Jackson 5. I think in hindsight, Nolan should have replaced the character and finished the original story...

Begins was the best Batman movie ever. TDKR was garbage.

"this movie would have been better is Brock Lestner played Bane and actually had the luchador outfit. And they should have brought back the Joker so he can team up against batman to defeat Bane. And this movie Should of had a Green Latern Cameo"

-
Psychotic TDKR haters who are still pissed their idea was turned down by anyone who has what resembles a rational mind.

I'll just say this too. TDKR is a very good movie, but it's not some high-class art film that a lot of people here act like it is. It's a summer blockbuster and a CBM. Nothing more. It's just taken a little more seriously than others.

If you want to see some real artistic films, then I suggest you check out the works of Ingmar Bergman.

I wonder how many lollipops are gonna be sucked just to get the film in the list of nominees?
AC1
AC1 - 11/13/2012, 11:14 AM
The only thing that might get a nom is the score. Zimmer's a musical genius. The rest of the film was disappointing and highly cliched. Has no one else noticed that the story actually follows many of the same beats that The Dark Knight did?

@Niem8211 I hope you realise that if it weren't for silent films there would be no cinema today, meaning no CBMs. And for a movie to actually take the risk of going back and using an almost extinct format, in order to do something different and unique against the cookie cutter crap that is pumped out of Hollywood all the time, is an incredibly brave and bold move. And it paid off. You didn't like The Artist? Fine. That's your opinion. But to brand it as 'some dumb [frick]ing movie with no sound" makes you look incredibly stupid.
