Warner Bros. Developing Big Screen LEGO BATMAN Movie Starring Will Arnett

The LEGO Movie was a box office hit, and while the Caped Crusader will star in a live-action movie from director Zack Snyder with 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, he'll also get his own animated flick in the form of a LEGO Batman spin-off. Read on for details!

The LEGO Movie has grossed over $460 million worldwide, and while audiences fell in love with the lead character voiced by Chris Pratt, Batman's brief role in the animated movie proved to be so popular that he's getting his own spin-off. The movie is actually being fast tracked by Warner Bros. and Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on The LEGO Movie (who was expected to take over from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller on The LEGO Movie 2), will direct. The Hollywood Reporter believe that this LEGO Batman spin-off will possibly even take the 2017 release date held by that sequel with that now being released somewhere further down the line. That's a move which could mean that the 22 Jump Street Duo are able to find the time in their busy schedule to take charge of the follow-up. Will Arnett will reprise the role of Batman - there's a sentence I never thought I'd write - and the fact that Warner Bros. have chosen this character for his own movie should come as no surprise when he's already starred in a number of video games and direct-to-DVD releases.

This is cool. I hope Nightwing, Batgirl & Red Hood will be in the movie too. I hope they use some one other then the Joker, in the film. I think Clayface & Mr Freeze could be a great team up.

I didn't think The Lego Movie was that funny and I thought it was a bit overrated. Batman was the part of the film and Will Arnett was funny. It made me realize how much I loved the self-absorbed, full of himself Batman as much as I love the dark, brooding, hero one. I loved when he was Bruce Wayne and even more high on himself than usual, lol. I thought they should make a comedy TV show with just him but a movie is even better!

Batman is definitely oversaturated in all forms of media, but he's my favorite superhero so I don't personally mind. The Lego Movie was awesome and Will Arnett's Batman was a highlight of the film, so I'll probably see this.

My boss is a Filthadelphian so we made a $500 bet at the beginning of season on who would have the better QB rating, Roethlisberger or Foles.

Looking good for me 1/3 of the way through the season.

The Red Wings are past their prime. It's over.

Tigers choked. Megatron is broken. Wings suck ass. Just when you thought life in Michigan couldn't get any more miserable ...

Rage was the first concert I ever went to. They had the Wu-Tang Clan open for them in 1997 in Pittsburgh. Still the best concert I've ever seen.
