Warner Bros. and DC Comics have both confirmed today that Ben Affleck will co-write and direct the new solo Batman movie that is titled The Batman : Its Really Confirmed And Its Not A Joke which the title teases a Joker appearance! Not only they confirmed the movie title but also the date! April 1, 2017. Exactly a year from today!

Kevin Tsujihara (Chairman of WB) told comicbookmovie.com "We are so excited to finally make this movie with Ben Affleck. He's a brilliant actor/writer/director and this is not a joke. We confirm you today that we are shooting next month while Justice League Part 1 is shooting too! Ben will be super busy... or should I say BAT busy (Laughs). Again this is not april fools."

Geoff Johns will also co-write the movie with Ben. When he was asked about the movie he revealed some interesting stuff. "Ben is a brilliant actor/writer/director no Joke!" When he was asked about the interesting title he answered "Let me just say that there's a clown involved and it's not Jesse! (Laughs but suddenly gets a call) Hold on.."

Geoff Johns is fired from WB/DC but we don't know why. Zack Snyder might actually write the movie with Ben now.

Again this is not April Fools. Its actually getting annoying! This is the real deal! What do you think? Comment bellow!

If Geoff John's was really fired that would be the bigger news. Bringing on Grant Morrison to replace him would have been alright with me. Another idea would have been to bring on Robert Kirkman or Mike Mignola. Seeing what they could do for a big screen version of Batman would've been great.

I wish but this article would be more believable if it was something like a 2018 release date.
