At Least Some Of BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Is Being Shot In IMAX
Last night saw Zack Snyder take to the streets of Chicago to film his version of the iconic Batman origin story scene featuring the murder of Thomas and Martha Wayne. According to one person on sight, it appears as if at least some of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is being shot in IMAX...
Batman-News have spotted a couple of Tweets from Chicago's own Mike Eisenberg, and they seemingly confirm that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is being shot at least partially in IMAX. If nothing else, the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents is being filmed using them and you have to imagine that a number of other scenes will be as well. Based on what we know about the highly anticipated 2016 movie, not ALL of it is being filmed with these cameras, similar to The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises from Christopher Nolan. The site also reveals - via their sources - that Martha Wayne's pearls (which fall to the ground during the shooting) are set to be added by CGI.
