With Avengers: Infinity War just around the corner, Marvel Studios has gone ahead and announced that their most recent worldwide phenomenon, Ryan Coogler's Black Panther, will arrive on Digital HD on May 8th, followed by a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray release a week later on May 15th.
Over the past two months, the critically-acclaimed Marvel blockbuster has shattered countless box office records with a worldwide gross over $1.3 billion ($665.6M domestic; $634.5M foreign), which makes it the highest-grossing superhero movie ever, the third-highest grossing film of all-time domestically, and the tenth-highest grossing film ever worldwide.
Details on the special features have yet-to-be-revealed, but based on past Marvel home video releases, we can probably expect at least a gag reel, a few deleted scenes, and a handful of behind-the-scenes featurettes.
