BLACK PANTHER Will "Absolutely" Get A Sequel; Tentative Plans Already In Place For The Story
Given the unprecedented success of Marvel and Ryan Coogler's Black Panther movie, a sequel was pretty much a foregone conclusion anyway - but now we have official confirmation that it's going to happen...
Marvel's Black Panther continues to claw through its competition, and is fast approaching the $1 billion mark at the global box office. For this reason - not to mention the fact that, Incredible Hulk aside, Marvel Studios has yet to not make a sequel to any of their films - a follow-up was all-but inevitable, and now it's been officially confirmed.

During an interview with EW, Kevin Feige was asked about his plans for a return visit to Wakanda, and while he had "nothing specific to reveal", he did confirm that "we absolutely will do that."
"One of the favorite pastimes at Marvel Studios is sitting around on a Part One and talking and dreaming about what we would do in a Part Two. There have been plenty of those conversations as we were putting together the first Black Panther. We have ideas and a pretty solid direction on where we want to head with the second one."
Again, this is not exactly breaking news - but it is still nice to hear that Feige and co. are already thinking about a direction the film could go in.
