Yesterday evening, some troubling reports surfaced in regards to Marvel creator Stan Lee being hospitalised with shortness of breath and an irregular heartbeat. At 95, he's no spring chicken but the comic book writer did appear at the Black Panther world premiere earlier this week and is still a regular on the convention circuit. Thankfully, we now have a pretty positive update on his current condition.

After a brief hospital stay, Lee is back home and is said to be feeling refreshed after a night in a medical facility. "All I really want to do is tell you that I'm feeling great," he confirmed in a brief statement.

It initially looked like Lee would stay for several days to undergo routine tests but he was released from Cedars-Sinai early after checking in on Thursday. With any luck, the legendary comic book creator will hopefully be shooting Marvel movie cameos for a very long time to come and it's definitely a relief to hear that he's better now. Who is your favourite character created by Lee? Share thoughts below.
