Good art. I think I'll get the trade when it comes out! I can't keep up with monthly titles anymore!

Death in the family has been moving too slow for me, way too slow! I've enjoyed it but im hoping we get to the "Bang soon"

So, I wonder how they are going to retcon the whole unnecessary plot point of Joker cutting off his face and wearing it like a mask? Looks like some of the artists are not on the same page, given the cover I see above. Personally, I think it was stupid, something I would expect from Marvel. Joker doesn't need to be "more" disfigured than he already is.

i've been following the main 'batman' title all the way through, and the only problem i have so far, is that i've been trying to picture it as a final collected novel, and i'm feeling that there isn't all that much going on. it's an intimate, small story - which isn't bad by any means. i just think i was expecting a different more expansive tale. but maybe that comes once you put all the titles together?

either way it's unnerving, creepy, tense, just all around brilliant. i will be truly sad to see scott snyder leave this character.

in a perfect world i'd like to see him tackle every single one of the great rogues, and then do a grand finale in the vein of 'the long halloween', 'dark victory', or even 'hush'.

can you guys imagine a year long story, involving all the great villains and even some other batman/DC heroes - written by scott snyder. jesus christ it would be amazing.

I agree with Hush. They keep THIS team on the Bat titles, and never let G.M. near it again, then we'll have some quality tales for a long time comin'.

"Death of the Family" is the ONLY comic story arc where I'm actually collecting EVERY TITLE with the DoTF banner above it. Yes, that's right, all 23 issues of Batman, Detective Comics, Suicide Squad, Catwoman, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and the Outlaws, Teen Titans, and Batman & Robin. It's so good that I may get it in HC too once it comes out. I need to get the "Night of the Owls" one still...

Catwoman was pointless. Suicide Squad was boring. Batgirl's cool. Teen Titans is interesting enough. Detective looks to pick up in the second issue. Batman & Robin was great. Haven't read Nightwing or Red Hood yet. Batman's been amazing.
