Is Animal Man still part of Vertigo? Is this series good? I mean is he an interesting character and story?

^^^yeah it's really good. States of incredibly strong then declined during Rot World but since it's been great again. They should use Travel Foreman a lot more along with Steve Pugh.

@LordoftheThrones26 Animal Man is now part of the DC universe proper and is no longer part of Vertigo. That said, it hasn't suffered from that transition in any way. It's in my Top 3 books of the current DCU and it's unnerving visuals and fun mythology-building (which is closely tied to Swamp Thing, another great Vertigo-to-DC title) makes this the comic I always recommend to newcomers.

My favorite DC book out right now. It used to be Swamp Thing until Snyder left. But it's still good.
