Jeff Lemire and DC Comics have announced on Twitter that The New 52 iconic run on Animal Man will be wrapping up with issue 29 in March next year. Lemire will be writing and drawing the issue along with the artist from when the series started in 2011, Travel Foreman.
There is good news included in this horrible news, Animal Man will be joining The Justice League when the current 'Justice League Of America' title becomes 'Justice League Of Canada' and the team makes the move to the Great North.
We've been through plenty of intense shit with the Baker family with Buddy's son dying, his wife leaving him and his daughter, Maxine being the true heir to thr powers of the red. So let us all say farewell to the great superhero that is Buddy Baker aka. Animal Man and we can all enjoy the great run and the new move to Canada with the Baker family and the rest of this new team.
