The Justice League crossover event, Throne of Atlantis continues in Aquaman #16. This has been one of the more exciting (non-Batman) crossover events of recent memory and it looks to pick up directly from where the last issue of Justice League left off.

I think people weren't fans before because of the "lame" stigma brought on by Superfriends. The shame was not addressing it and using it as a storytelling element. I think that's where the new 52 Aquaman hits a home run. They address his unpopularity and show that he was still the badass he always was. I always tell people that Namor could've eaily gone the way Aquaman did

Paul Pelletier has certainly outdone himself. I never thought anyone would match the high standards set by Reis but Pelletier has stepped up to the plate with some of the best art I've ever seen from him.
