What better way to celebrate Batman Month on DCComics.com than with an all-Batman episode of DC All Access? First, we speak to animation legend Bruce Timm about "Strange Days," the spectacularly retro short he's assembled in honor of Batman's 75th Anniversary. Then we get the scoop on the Dark Knight's latest comic, Batman Eternal, from one of men leading the writing team, Scott Snyder. After that, Brian Buccellato discusses what's ahead in Detective Comics and KROQ's Ralph Garman shows off his truly spectacular Batman '66 collection. All this, plus an opportunity to win a full-scale Batarang replica and another chance to enter to win a trip to San Diego Comic-Con. Holy DC All Access, Batman!

@McGee hahah that was great. Let's give it up for Bruce Timm! Definitely someone who understands B-man. For his most essential gadget I said his cape, for both look and function.

If WB was smart they would make a new studio. The name isn't really important right now. But let's just call it DC Entertainment Studios as the placeholder name for right now. It would supervise the DC animated tv series and movies. The DC live action tv series and movies. The comic book series. Plus the video games too.

Get people like Paul Dini, Bruce Timm, Giancarlo Volpe, Brandon Vietti, Greg Weisman, Geoff Johns, Jim Lee, Dan DiDio, Keith Giffen, Lauren Montgomery, Grant Morrison, Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Nicola Scott, Amanda Conner, Brian Azzarello, Greg Pak & Tom Taylor.

Look I know they wouldn't get everyone on board. But even if it was just a few it would help. WB can still keep David Goyer if they want too. Plus WB will have Chris Terrio writing the DCCU. So with all these people shaping the DCCU. WB would have a really great shot at putting out excellent DC movies.

"Yay DC animation. The only thing they do right."

Hmm... Lets see

Video games= Arkham series, Injustice, DC Universe, Infinite Crisis>>Marble

Live Action Tv Shows= Arrow, Smallville season 1-5, old school shows>>Marble

Imprint= Vertigo>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Marble

Comics= Kingdom Come, Watchmen, All Star Superman>>>>>>>Marble

Movies= The Dark Knight Trilogy, Watchmen>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Marble

Animated shows/movies= Timm Universe, JL Flashpoint, TDKR>>>>>>Marble

The only place where Marble wins, is in the cinematic universe race. That is it.

Didn't Bruce Timm say last year at Comic-Con that WB approached him to be the godfather of the DC Cinematic Universe and he said no?

Ride the coattails of batman, one dimensional DC. Oh but what about superman?! What about EVERYBODY ELSE? They're too [frick]ing scared to give another dc hero a chance because the general audience could give a shit about the others. I would love it and you would love it, but they dont make that much bank on comic book geeks considering our ratio to the GA. Arrow is great, AOS sucks. How does a simple article about batman turn into a DC does everything great and marvel doesn't? Their animation is top notch, their cinematic universe? Not so much. If bruce timm was the godfather of DC movies, batman wouldn't have "died" in the end of TDKR because well to put it simply, it was dumb. Batman would never fake his own death! They should have done a fourth movie to see the outcome of him not being batman. "Robin" would have died in two seconds. Enough of this, I hate starting shit

Man, Timm has always had it hard for Batman.
