COMICS: Is Wolverine Finally Going To Return To The Marvel Universe As...The Hulk?!
Ever since his apparent demise, fans have been wondering when Wolverine would return to the Marvel Universe. Well, it's finally happening, but this image seemingly reveals that he'll be Hulking out...
Newsarama spotted a Tweet from Marvel Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso today which has got fans really talking. As you can see, it features some sort of Wolverine/Hulk hybrid, and speculation is already running rampant that this could be how Logan is brought back from the dead. His Adamantium encased corpse is currently in the possession of the X-Men, while The Hulk's body is being held on to by Captain America, someone we all know is currently a Hydra sleeper agent.
Other characters have been implanted with Wolverine's claws over the years, so it's possible that Cap and Hydra have used the Jade Giant's corpse to create a powerful new "weapon" for Secret Empire.
Alonso labelled the artwork (by Skan) as being "Under Construction," so it definitely appears as if this is some sort of new creation. I personally don't think that this is how Wolverine will be brought back from the dead, but with Old Man Logan still out there, making the original a Hulk would certainly be pretty...interesting. And massively controversial! What do you guys think?
