After Tony Stark marries Emma Frost, she reveals the existence of Mysterium, a metal so rare and powerful that neither magic nor the blows of gods can damage it. Tony becomes obsessed with getting his hands on it. But there's a problem. The only sample is hidden in the ruins of a special island, now crawling with enemies. Tony uses his stealth armor to infiltrate at night, but he didn't count on an Orcus gorilla soldier guarding the ruins. And worse, the gorilla detects him. A brutal fight breaks out. This gorilla is strong, almost too strong. Tony has to get creative. He finds an opening, distracts the beast, and collapses part of the ruins right on top of him, killing him instantly.
Tony finally reaches the chest containing the mysterium and escapes without anyone seeing him. Now, he needs to know if this metal is actually worth the risk. Therefore, he forges a small cane and starts testing it. First, he asks Captain Marvel to break it. She can't. Then, Doctor Strange tries to destroy it with magic, but it's impossible. Therefore, Tony calls Spider-Man, tells him to close his eyes, and smashes the cane into his shin. Peter screams, "What the hell was that for?" But Tony just smiles because Peter's spider sense never detected it. This metal is completely invisible to superhuman senses.
Tony now has everything he needs to build the ultimate armor. But that night, his greatest fear comes for him in a nightmare. Magneto, ripping his armor apart piece by piece, turning it into a spear and killing him with his own technology. Tony wakes up screaming, realizing he needs to finish this armor now. Emma heard everything. She comes to calm him down in the most effective way possible. You know what I mean? The next morning, Tony is ready. The armor is almost complete. He steps out to say goodbye to Emma. But when he returns, the X-Men discovered Tony stole from an island. They've come for him. But Tony isn't running. He fights back, buying just enough time. The armor arrives, locks around his body, and for the first time in his life, Tony Stark is truly invincible.
