Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.

Starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, T.J. Miller, Ed Skrein, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, Deadpool is set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Are you looking forward to it?

Okay I need some help guys. Although I read a lot of comics Deadpool is not one of the characters I've read a lot of but I usually like to read some comics starring the character in the days before seeing a new movie so what's good tpb or two (or three) that I should pick up with the character at his best? Mind you I'm extremely familiar with the character, I still have my copy of New Mutants #98 from way back in the day buried in some box, so it doesn't need to cover his origin story or anything like that just what's the best and/or your favorite storylines of Deadpool? Thanks in advance for the help.

@DallasAvenger - Gerry Duggan's run has been pretty great. Volume 3 of his run was really cool though you should check that one out for sure.

I'd say, go with the last volume of Deadpool. The one that ended just before secret wars. It's ridiculous, but I really enjoyed it. Try the first 5 issues and decide if you want to read all 50 of that volume.
