It was revealed a few weeks back that Ms Marvel will become the new Captain Marvel in a new series. Alot of people did not like Ed McGuinness' artwork. So here is a much better fan-made cover!

Now Captain Marvel looks great in the picture. I know we haven't seen alot of artwork so hopefully the art for the series will get better. The first issue will be released in July.

IDK, I like her as Captain Marvel, but she should have her classic mask. Maybe a red one.

I cant wait for this. I love Ms Marvel so this will be a must buy!

Why couldn't she just wear her original costume? It looked exactly like Captain Marvel's, but more feminine.

I like her Captain Marvel look. It shows off her curves to make her look feminine, without turning her into a slice of cheesecake, and I've always had a thing for pixie cutes.

Comic book fans have just got to accept that the days when they could eyeball superheroines legs and breasts are over. It is the 21st century and we deserve a genre that is not based on masturbatory fantasies.

@Spidey1610......that is the smartest thing anyone here has ever said about female characters. You are correct, in this modern day of Comic book history, many of the costumes the female heroes wear have become sexualized and are out of touch. Ms. Marvel is a perfect example with her early more super revealing outfit all the way to now where she has a duty to uphold and wear a more conservative outfit that has both form and function.

Also there is the Avenging Spider-man cover by Dodson which does feature her with slightly longer hair, but not by much. My theory as to why she has sort hair is because after she regains her Binary power it must burn off a bunch of her hair

Thank you StuckInPanels! Very true. Same can be said about Batwoman and Catwoman.

Thank you! That is way better than the official version.

My biggest complaint was that that Marvel made her less feminine, which is kind of weird considering, you know, she's a woman!

The suit could still use some work, but Marvel needs to take notes. A female superhero can be taken seriously, without having to take away her femininity.

Remember in the film 'Theres Something About Mary' when Cam Diaz put Ben Stiller's jizz in her hair... Well, it looks like Captain Marvel adopted that look...
