READ BEFORE READING THE STORY: I am currently in the midst of many projects I have in mind, currently this is one of them. This is basically a story depicting an encounter between Hal Jordan and the character of Riddick. With two totally different characters how will this ever work. I think I have implemented a formula that it could work on. A sort of balance I can keep both of them bouncing back and forth. Well read Part 1 and tell me what you think, as always my fan fiction work often contains mature content.
To began with also, I wanted to place the setting of the story as a spiritual sequel to Green Lantern. Riddick is sort of at the other end, his character is on his own spectrum but not separate from the films. Although you will notice some vast changes through my own form of writing.

TITLE: GREEN LANTERN X RIDDICK
PART 1
Hal Jordan hasn’t slept in days nor has he slept since the disaster. He was supposed to defend those people, his people from the evil that would come over them. He couldn’t at all because he believe he didn’t have the power too. Death and destruction rained in front of his very eyes. He watched as Sinestro attacked on the innocents of Coast City. He watched and did nothing. Within moments and hours the city was under fire. That was when Hal Jordan became powerless and he wanted to be. He took his last flight in his suit into space and sucked himself inside a wormhole. He disappeared in pity and sorrow. He was weak and he didn’t know what to do. Hal Jordan disappeared to never be seen again. In reality he was always there, and he hasn’t slept a day since.
Hal Jordan is floating somewhere in the cosmos now unconscious and unable to move. He is stranded forever lost within time. A former Green Lantern turned to pieces. He floated and floated within space to the far reaches of wherever gravity leads him. Then he opens his eyes suddenly. He opens his eyes and looks around. He is on top a pile of sand. A stand storm blows through the wind. He is in desert. Hal Jordan looks to see if his ring is on him, his ring is gone. Hal stands naked in the mysterious desert lands. One minute he was floating in space and now he is here, for what reason. He moves towards the direction where the wind blows. He walks for days without nothing in sight. The air grows stale and cold within this place. Only sunlight appears without night time existing. Ten days past as he continually walks, he strangely doesn’t feel hungry or tired. On the tenth day he came to a sudden halt. A giant pyramid stands before him. The sand storm blows harder than it did a few days ago. Hal Jordan rushes to the pyramid touching it trying to feel for a door. Then suddenly a small wall moves as Hal Jordan reaches closer. The wall opens and Hal Jordan falls inside into a seemingly bottom less pit.
He lands in a cave of darkness, assuming it’s underneath the pyramid structure. He feels thing moving by his foot. Then he feels something sharp crawling on his skin. It slowly comes near his balls. He feels a slight sensual tickle from this mysterious thing. He can’t see what it is because it’s dark. He looks down for a moment and sees something shiny. He touches it, it felt like a knife too him. Hal Jordan backs away immediately, then suddenly a voice spoke, “Your not afraid of the dark are you?”, the unknown voice says. “Who said that!”, Hal Jordan screams out in anger. “Forget it this it not fair game, I am giving you five minutes to run the hell out of here. Go wherever you want in the darkness. I am going to let you know I will hunt you down one way or another. I am Riddick. This is survival of the fittest.” Hal Jordan feels him brush by his naked body, “Hey you dick come back here!” He chases after him, Hal Jordan then hears a loud slamming sound. He turns around and feels a door.
The place is booby trapped everywhere he assumes from his senses. Without his ring Hal Jordan has to rely on himself. He starts feeling the walls then one of the walls push in. He goes inside into a lighted room, it looks like a throne. Candles are lit alongside the walls. A chandelier hangs above on the ceiling. He moves towards the center of the room and sees a table with shackles and chains. “This is some sort of torture room”, Hal Jordan said. He reaches under the table to see if he finds anything. He feels something pointy. He reaches and pulls it out. He finds a giant axe. “Damn this is what I need”, he says. Then suddenly the candles blow out. Hal Jordan looks around. “Riddick”. Then he feels a punch to his gut. He swings his axe and hits air. Hal Jordan feels his stomach, he sees blood. Then suddenly he is kicked from the back and brought down rolling. Hal tries to get back up slowly from his knees. Then the unexpected happen. He feels a mighty blow, a hard kick to his balls. Hal squeals loudly and starts heavily pounding the floor in pain. “Your not much of a challenge are you?”, Riddick said. Riddick then goes on top of his back nailing him to the floor. Hal tries to shake him off. Riddick slowly thrusts him. “Your going to feel every minute of it”.
Hal then sees the glare of something shiny in his eyes. The axe and he knows it is it. Riddick continues to thrust his body slowly. Hal reaches for the axe with his arms. Riddick smacks his head with his hands, “Your losing concentration, this is the survival of the fittest come on!”. Hal finally grabs the axe and swings it backwards. He hears a scream from Riddick. “That was my shoulder, your one feisty one are you”, Riddick said. Hal Jordan slowly gets up standing his ground. “I fight dirty, it’s my style,” Hal says with a witty remark. Riddick then growls. “I’m coming for you soon”, then Riddick disappears into the shadows with a breeze of wind. Hal Jordan stands naked with the axe in hand, “I’m coming for you soon too Riddick.”
