Should Elements From The AGE OF ULTRON Storyline Form The Story For THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON?

Joss Whedon has said that Avengers: Age of Ultron will match the recent comic book storyline only in name. However, I think several elements from the comic should form the backbone for the movie's story.

Disclaimer: Plot points from Age of Ultron comic will be discussed in detail. Therefore those who have not yet read Age of Ultron should NOT read this article.

After revealing that the Avengers sequel will be called Avengers: Age of Ultron Joss Whedon said in an interview, "Well because there was a book called 'Age of Ultron' quite recently, a lot of people have assumed that is what we're doing, but that is not the case." To me this is a relief because the book Age of Ultron was not that great. However, there were elements to the story that were really good that I think could be a part of the movie's story. These elements include:

1. Ultron takes over the world.

The simplest way to describe the plot of Age of Ultron storyline is to say that Ultron takes over the world, and the Avengers are the resistance trying to dethrone him. In the same interview quoted above Joss says that the Avenger sequel "is very much a global Avengers film. A lot of the movie has to do with their place not jut in America, but the world." From the very moment that I found out Ultron would be the villain in the sequel this is what I wanted for the sequel. Thankfully, Joss Whedon seems to be making my wish for a global Avengers film come true, and having Ultron rule the world will certainly give Avengers: Age of Ultron a global aspect.

2. Vision is a conduit for Ultron.

From the very instant that fans found out that Ultron would be the villain in the Avengers sequel they have cried out for Vision to make an appearance in the film also. Having the Avengers infiltrate a fortress looking for Ultron only to find Vision in his place would be the way to introduce him to the MCU. The Avengers could then have Vision join their ranks as they prepare to defeat Ultron. This then leads to my last point.

3. Ultron controls the world from the future.

In the comic book Ultron communicates to Luke Cage and She Hulk from the future through his "son" Vision. This then leads to the first leap in time among many other leaps, which in my opinion is what made Age of Ultron so weak. However, in the movie the Avengers could go to the future to bring down Ultron once and for all thus ending the nightmare of the past. This, in turn could lead to the introduction of Kang the Conqueror in Avengers 4,5, or 6.

On a side note one last element from the comic that could make its way into the movie is the death of Hulk and Thor. While Joss has not officially declared that he would kill an Avenger many fans seem to think he will. If anyone is to die in this film I would rather it be anyone other than Captain America, and to stay true to the comic book I think it should be one of these two. Just don't tell Loki since he wants a rematch with Hulk.

Anyways I hope you the reader likes my ideas and if not feel free to tell me so.
