Hey everybody! It's TheReddestHood here! Recently I got bored and read my prized possession, the very 1st issue of Luke Cage: Hero for Hire. This inspired me to write. What started as a modern day reimagining of he first issue, ended up as the description of the perfect trailer (IMO) for a Luke Cage, movie or TV show.

I hope you enjoyed it! Now i promised a little mini fan-cast and I'm (sometimes) a man of my word. As for our man character Carl Lucas/Luke Cage I'd cast Chadwick Boseman in the role. He has the right look, tone of voice, acting ability, and presence to paly someone like Cage. A lot of people want him to play BP, and I would be jumping up and down if he did, but I'd love it even more if he played Mr. Cage. In reality my first choice is Anthony Mackie, but since the Netflix shows are most likely tied to the MCU he can't due to him already playing Falcon (check out my reasons for him playing Cage in my article An All Black Fan Cast for All Black Heroes).
Other characters that would appear are Harmony Young (Tika Sumpter), Willis Stryker (David Oyelowo), and Reva Connors (Nicole Beharie). In addition, Commanche and Shades would both appear (played by Nate Parker and Ludacris respectively).
