The sole reason is that since disney took over marvel and got the animated rights back from sony, they have no rights to all the animations, designs and characters.

Basically marvel can't make money off them, so they had to remake. the same happened with Spectacular Spiderman.

also Avengers EMH finished filming near christmas, hence Josh Keaton talking about already filming the finale, so this concept could have been in the works since then, or even since the avengers made a butt load of money.

dont get me wrong though im not endorsing USM or the new avengers, USM already is already piss poor, and i cant see this show being much better, especially when it will constantly be compared to EMH.

i'm not that bothered by it.

it looks like the animation will be improving & as long as it doesn't use the ultimate spider-man show as its template,i say bring it on.

EMH was great. Probably one of the most faithful animated adaptations of the Marvel Universe so far. I wish they would bring this back and Wolverine and the X-men and have those two shows cross over!

@Hybrid0027..that's very interesting if true..id have to go back and watch to see if the Hulks and Thor design matches..

but i read that the new avengers toon will play more to the marvel movie universe
