Writer/director Kevin Smith won’t say whom he has in mind to play the lead in his Green Hornet movie but he says talks are already underway.
"We had a really tremendous meeting," Smith told MTV. "Hopefully he says yes."
Smith, who is good friends with and has cast Ben Affleck (Daredevil) in his films, wouldn’t comment on long-standing casting rumors of George Clooney and Jet Li as Britt Reid/Green Hornet and Kato.
"[A]cting skill" tops Smith’s list of qualifications. "I want a performer more than anything else - a guy who can act.”
