Tyrese Gibson has been campaigning for the role of John Stewart for years now, but we've had some peace and quiet in recent months. Well, that's now changed as the actor is back on Instagram and once again making it clear that he wants to suit up as Green Lantern. Some fans have pointed out that he may just be expressive his excitement for Injustice 2, but it definitely looks like he's teasing the possibility that he may have landed the role of the fan-favourite hero in the DC Films Universe.

Chances are he hasn't, of course, but The Fate of the Furious star is clearly still desperate to be given the chance to join the Justice League cast or possibly David Goyer's upcoming Green Lantern Corps.

Could it happen? Who knows, but anything is possible in the world of superhero movies! You can't fault the actor for campaigning for a role he's passionate about, though the vast majority of fans don't seem overly keen on him landing it! What do you guys think? Share your thoughts down below.
