Meet Mantis In The Hilarious Action-Packed Trailer For GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2
Marvel has released the brand new trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and it's packed full of laughs, big reveals, and some awesome action. We also get our first look at new team member, Mantis!
We knew it was coming today, and Marvel Studios - as per usual - delivered! The new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer is here, and with it comes a first look at a lot of amazing visuals, the sure to be new fan-favourite hero Mantis, and some hilarious hijinx with next year's must have Christmas present Baby Groot. Seriously, there's just no way to watch this trailer without falling in love with the little guy.
What's perhaps more interesting is what we don't see here. There are almost zero plot details, no sign of Ego the Living Planet, and not so much as a single reference to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, after the success of the first movie, Marvel is lucky enough to be able to promote this one on the characters alone, and that's most definitely what they're doing with this first full-length trailer.
Starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell, the movie will be released on May 5th.
