Ali Larter Confirmed To Return For RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER

Claire Redfield is back for more zombie-killing mayhem.
Deadline is reporting that Ali Larter (Legends) has officially signed on to reprise her role as Redfield in the final installment of Screen Gems' Resident Evil series, which is tentatively titled Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. This will be Larter's third film in the franchise following appearances in 2007's Resident Evil: Extinction and 2010's Resident Evil: Afterlife. As far as fans of the franchise know, her character is currently a prisoner of the evil Umbrella Corporation.
The upcoming final chapter is set to kick off production this September in South Africa and also features the returns of director/writer Paul W.S. Anderson and franchise star Milla Jovovich. Others rumored to return include Wentworth Miller, Sienna Guillory, Spencer Locke, Shawn Roberts, Li Bingbing, and Johann Urb.
