Now Drew Goddard Is Brought In To Write A New Ending For WORLD WAR Z

Not too long ago, it was reported that Damon Lindelof had been brought in to write a new ending for World War Z; the big screen adaptation of the Max Brooks novel which stars Brad Pitt. However, issues with timing have meant that while the Prometheus and Star Trek 2 writer was able to come up with a new ending, he was unable to actually script it. For that reason, Paramount have now brought in Cabin in the Woods and Robopocalypse writer Drew Goddard. However, the studio may end up going after yet another writer (it's possible, especially as Goddard may also run into problems as he too has other commitments) in the form of Christopher McQuarrie (The Wolverine). No date has currently been set for the reshoots which will implement the new ending, but they WILL be shot by director Marc Forster.
