With IT garnering almost universal acclaim (you can check out our review HERE), what better time to debut the teaser for another Stephen King adaptation that's set to hit Netflix later this month, Gerald's Game.

Mike Flanagan (Absentia, Hush, Ouija: Origin of Evil) directs this psychological horror film, which stars Sin City's Carla Gugino as a woman who becomes a prisoner in her own home when her husband (Bruce Greenwood) dies in the middle of a kinky sex game.

Check out the trailer below along with a synopsis, and let us know what you think.

When a harmless sex game between a married couple in a remote retreat suddenly becomes a harrowing fight for survival, wife Jessie must confront long-buried demons within her own mind – and possibly lurking in the shadows of her seemingly empty house. Among those she confronts are ghosts from her past and a rabid dog.

Gerald's Game will be available to stream on Netflix from September 29.
