3D Work Done on Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace

With Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace coming back into theaters next February a source has said that the 3D conversion for the film has concluded and that George Lucas has signed off on it.

The Saga begins again by coming back to theaters this February and its coming back in 3D. Sources have told Bleeding Cool that the 3D conversion for Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace is completed and ready to go. They are also saying that George Lucas has given his approval on the 3D conversion.

I’ve just had a quick chat with Matt Bristowe, Head of Production at stereo house Prime Focus after the “big” 3D debate at Empire Big Screen. He’s confirmed for me that all work is complete on the 3D version of Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace.


Catch Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace in 3D back in theaters February 10th 2012.
