The still untitled follow-up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens is now halfway through production, and to mark the occasion Rian Johnson has posted a couple of new set snaps to his Tumblr page.
One features a Resistance pilot in his X-Wing, and the other gives us a look at what appears to be a First Order officer sporting an outfit very similar to those worn by some of the Imperials on the original trilogy.
“Good. Bad. I’m the guy with the microfiber sham.” I can’t believe we’re halfway through the shoot. (We’re halfway through the shoot!)
Star Wars: Episode VIII is scheduled for release December 15, 2017.
