Considering that four DLC packs are being released, I had believed that out of the four heroes that would come with them we would get one for each pack. No, however, we are getting two right now and they are Nien Nunb and Greedo! Not as exciting as what I had thought we would get for the Outer Rim, which was Ben Kenobi. However, these are obscure characters and DICE has the opportunity to really flesh them out and aside from the design, build them from the ground up. I look forward to playing as these characters, even if they are disappointing.

We also no know that the two planets that will be getting more maps are Tatooine and Sullust. While both of these were present in the original game, we only got two maps from each. In the original game, Sullust has three maps: the Sorosuub Complex, the Sulphur Fields and the Imperial Hangar. We can expect at minimu, two more maps for Sullust, one focusing on the smelting factory and one on the pipes and platforms. Expect these two maps to play out quite similarly to Mustafar on the original Battlefront games.

Initially Tatooine had four maps: the Jundland Wastes, Jawa Refuge, the Rebel Depot and the Dune Seas Exchange. Tatooine's map number was brought to five when the Raider Camp, once only available in missions, was made playable for multiplayer. Again, at minimum expect two more maps on Tatooine, one which focuses on the interior complex of Jabba's palace - which should be reminiscent to a beloved map on Battlefront II - and one on the exterior and the sail barge (which you'll remember was where Boba Fett fell to his death). With likely seven maps, Tatooine will be the most detailed planet available to use in the game and unless it comes at a later date, I'm still surprised that Mos Eisley is not part of the game yet.

The most exciting news is that a new game mode, Extraction, will be coming. Rebel forces have to reach an extraction point and the Empire has to stop them. This seems very fun and quite different to the other game modes already in the game, some of which mesh into each other. I loved Turning Point and Extraction seems to be more team based than individual based, so I'm sure that it will be great as well.
