For all the hullabaloo over Tron: Legacy in the build up to its release, visuals and audio aside the movie turned out to be a pretty mediocre experience. But new show Tron: Uprising, developed by Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, may restore our faith in The Grid. Here is a first look at some footage thanks to Hero Complex..
The story takes place right after Clu (the evil version of Jeff Bridges) takes control of The Grid, and apparently won't focus on any "Users" (human characters) but the "Programs"..actual citizens of The Grid. The hero of the story is Beck (voiced by Elijah Wood), who leads a revolution against Clu. Other voice cast members include Mandy Moore, Lance Henricksen and Bruce Boxleitner. And as you can hear the awesome Daft Punk are back to give us eargasms.
