Let’s get right to the Spider-Man 2 news updates:
- Spider-Man star Tobey Maguire will likely join Catwoman’s Halle Berry as one of the presenters at the June 10 MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Lindsay Lohan.
- A new Dr Pepper/Dodge Viper promotion is now airing showing "a man on a roof shoot a home-made 'web shooter' and the movie theme was playing as he crashed into a building," according to a Superhero Hype source.

- A fourth poster promoting the movie began showing up on the side of buses. It shows Spider-Man firing a webline to the left side of the ad. The first three posters "Sacrifice," "Destiny," and "Choice" can be downloaded by following this link.
- New images of the Spider-Man 2 action figures are available here.
- Activision will develop games based on Spider-Man 3, set for release in May 2007.
- Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will reprise their roles as Spider-Man and Mary Jane with Sam Raimi set to direct in the third movie, according to Sony.
