Anderson Davis Has A Great Chance At Playing Superman?

Now that the up and coming actor who has starred in television commercials, plays, and short films is now confirmed to be up for the role of Superman, I could not believe it because I actually broke word that he was in contention months ago!

Months ago with another account here on CBM, I posted a story that I was told through IMDb that WB was looking at Armie Hammer, Henry Cavill, Jon Hamm, and Anderson Davis for Superman. Now four or five months later, Anderson Davis is brought up as an official contender for the iconic role.

This makes me think that Davis is a major contender over at Warner Bros. since he has been essentially linked to it for months. The young actor has already been given a jump start at an acting career by starring in television commercials, plays, as well as short films.

Anderson Davis certainly has the right build, and his acting does compliment his structure very well. Remember how wrestlers cant act? Well in that case you want someone like Davis who is just as cut.

Here is Davis in the short film "Just Cops":

Many of you, I imagine, would probably say he is not right for Superman because of his voice. Well, who knows, maybe Snyder and Nolan are looking for the right actor rather then all the altogether right stuff.

So, Anderson Davis as Superman? He has my vote. He fits as an unknown, and definitely would change the way we look at Superman.
