The spinoff series of the CW's Arrow has arrived, and was easily my most anticipated TV series going forward. Instantly with Grant Gustin being introduced as Barry Allen during Season 2 of Arrow, I knew he had the ability to carry his own show. And he is very convincing along with Candice Patton as Iris West and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. The beginning is dare I say, fast paced and it wastes no time getting to the main point in the story.

It starts off with Barry narrating his story, jumping from past to present day. The characters, aside from Barry, aren't as fleshed out as I wanted them to be. Which is fine, as I'll know more about them in upcoming episodes.

It was exciting to see a bunch of references to The Flash universe, along with stunning visuals, the running scenes are truly breathtaking, jumping right out of the comic book. With a surprise twist ending, and seeing a very familiar face is a guarantee that I'll tune in next week.

The Flash is great so far, and Grant Gustin is undoubtedly solid as Barry Allen/The Flash, and I'm excited to tune in next week to see this series unfold.
