MARK HAMILL (“STAR WARS”) REPRISES HIS ROLE AS THE TRICKSTER — A copycatkiller who goes by the name “The Trickster” (guest star Devon Graye) starts setting off bombs inCentral City.  In order to stop the villain, Barry (Grant Gustin) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) meet withthe original Trickster, a criminal mastermind named James Jesse (guest star Mark Hamill), who hasbeen imprisoned for 20 years.  Things quickly go from bad to worse when the Tricksters unite andtake  Henry (John Wesley Shipp) prisoner.   Meanwhile,  Iris  (Candice Patton) asks  Eddie  (RickCosnett) for help with a case, and flashbacks show how Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) came upwith the idea for the particle accelerator.  Ralph Hemecker directed the episode written by AndrewKreisberg.


With Mark Hamill reprising the role of The Trickster, this looks set to be a very exciting episode of The Flash! The biggest reveals should come from flashbacks revealing how and why Harrison Wells came up with the particle accelerator. What do you guys think of these details?

So wanted him to play Jay Garrick McGee. The only thing I didn't like about the 90's costume was the lightning bolt on his chest it was way to big and looked like gold cardboard. lol Other then that liked that version better then this new costume.

im pretty sure... that wells is eddie from the future, he and flash come back to the past, something happens and eddie lose his speed, maybe he kills barry (no speed force then, so he lose his powers), so...he is stuck in the past and change his name to harrison wells, thats why he come to the city just when barry's mom died, so.. stuck in the past he has to be sure that he can create flash so he can get back his speed, thats why he didnt kill eddie

What is Harrison Wells master plan? I mean he seems to have his secrets and fights against The Flash yet he wants to save people and is usually concerned about Barry.

@MercSoul... Not bad, but Eddie isn't a genius. He's not a dummy, but I doubt that in 15 years or so he could suddenly become smart enough to do all the science things that Wells is capable of.

@Nomis... Thanks for posting that pic from the old show. I remember when that was on tv, and wanting so bad to watch it. I also remember my father's disappointment that I was so interested in that, and not interested in watching professional sports on tv like other kids my age were doing with their fathers. Seeing Mark Hamill's costume makes me really understand the depths of my father's disappointment and confusion in my programming of choice. I would still watch every episode of the old Flash though before I would watch pro sports, given the choice.

Mark Hamill will always be the best Joker, his voice is perfect. But sadly he doesn't look like him. Yeah it would be nice to see him as the Trickster, not a fan of the character though.

I think that wells is an older version of barry who came to the past to fight the real counter flash and stayed when he failed in order to help his younger self get better much faster so that when the younger barry encountered the real counter flash he would be ready and be able to save his mother
