TikTok has debuted a new teaser for The Flash in the form of a brief clip spotlighting the return of Kiersey Clemons as Barry Allen's love interest, Iris West.

In the promo, Iris well Barry that they need to talk, so the Scarlet Speedster uses his lighting-quick abilities to speed-clean his apartment. Iris comments on Barry's place being much cleaner than she expected, at which point the clutter bursts from the cupboards.

Clemons was cast as Iris in Justice League, but her scenes were cut from the theatrical release of the movie. However, Zack Snyder did restore one key moment featuring the character for his long-awaited director's cut.

From what we can gather, West doesn't have a particularly substantial part in this movie, either, which is a shame - especially if she isn't given the opportunity to reprise the role again.

"Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash features Barry Allen traveling back in time in order to change events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to help. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian…albeit not the one he’s looking for.

Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?"

The Flash is produced by Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco, with a screenplay by Christina Hodson, an a screen story by John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein and Joby Harold, based on characters from DC. Warner Bros. Pictures presents a Double Dream/a Disco Factory production of an Andy Muschietti film.

So this movie takes place in the Whedon or the Snyder continuity?
What a mess.

@TheHumanSpider2 - Does it matter? I am not paying 12 dollars to see them talk about Justice League. I am not going to sit their hyperfocused if he talks about how much he hates brunch (must be Whedon) or if the greatest moment in film history is brought up (Snyder).

@GarthRanzz - For a movie which main focus is continuity, I think it should...also, if this is or not the first time Barry goes back in time might matter, dont you think?

@litobirdy - The fact that she’s still in the cast has been publicly available information for quite a while.

It’s very telling this is the first we’ve even seen of her in the movie’s promo, she’s gonna have a glorified cameo in the movie at best. It was probably just a courtesy that they included her at all. I feel for Kiersey, yet another actor given the short end of the stick because of WB’s incompetence.

That actually made me laugh and is the type of humour I'd want to see in a flash movie 🙄

Just so annoying that this menace is the star 😭

Seems like they're spending an awful lot of time in the DCEU at the beginning of this movie.
