In this keyframe concept art from Thor: The Dark World, we get to see a number of key moments from the sequel along with moments which sadly didn't make it to the big screen. Hit the jump to check it out!
Marvel Studios has a stellar track record but many fans agree that they stumbled somewhat with Thor: The Dark World back in 2013. Despite that, the Alan Taylor helmed sequel has a score of 66% on Rotten Tomatoes and it grossed over $644 million at the worldwide box office.
Regardless of whether you loved or hated the movie, we're now taking a look at some of the artwork which was used to bring Asgard and its many inhabitants to life after Kenneth Branagh's first instalment (mostly) kept things grounded here on Midgard.
In this first batch of concept art from The Dark World, we're focusing on some gorgeous pieces depicting key moments like Jane Foster's arrival on Asgard and Frigga's funeral along with scenes which weren't actually shot, including Malekith addressing his fellow Dark Elves and various attacks on the God of Thunder's home.
