PEACEMAKER Episode 6 Includes HUGE DCU Cameo As Dark Truth About The Alternate Reality Is Revealed - SPOILERS

Tonight's episode of Peacemaker season 2 finally revealed the truth about the alternate reality, and it's even darker than imagined. We also get a big DCU cameo, likely setting up 2027's Man of Tomorrow...

The latest episode of Peacemaker—titled "Ignorance Is Chris"—opens with Chris Smith enjoying his new life (and newfound fame) in the alternate reality. Meanwhile, in the DCU, Emilia Harcourt, Leota Adebayo, John Economos, and Vigilante figure out how to use the QUC to hop between dimensions.

As they explore Chris' family home, Rick Flag Sr. decides that he's heading to Belle Reve to speak with a prisoner who can potentially help him find Peacemaker.

Emilia travels to A.R.G.U.S. with Keith; however, she ends up being detained because, when they used the interdimensional portal, she was dusted by a stash of cocaine Vigilante had seized from criminals.

Rick meets with Lex Luthor, who is now using a cane after his run-in with Krypto. He's been imprisoned for 265 years and is despondent with being surrounded by metahumans. The A.R.G.U.S. boss can transfer him to more comfortable surroundings, but only in exchange for Lex’s help in finding Peacemaker and his portal.

Rick can't (and won't) give Lex his freedom, but he can give the villain "an opportunity for redemption." They’re partners now.

Chris finds Emilia in his new reality, and a confrontation follows. They talk about her having a thing with Rick Flag Jr., and he confesses his love for her. She seems unable to reciprocate, and Peacemaker is reluctant to come home.

Vigilante tracks down his counterpart and learns that he's Peacemaker's enemy and a member of the Sons of Liberty. As Leota takes a walk, she gets some strange looks, and when Keith sees her, he screams, "One got out! A Black!"

At Emilia's urging, Chris takes a closer look at the U.S. flag and sees the stars have been replaced by a Nazi symbol. John is captured by Peacemaker’s father (who learns the truth about his son from him), this world's Harcourt demands that her double be arrested, and Leota runs for her life from a bloodthirsty mob on a world now confirmed to be one ruled over by the Nazis.

Welcome to Earth X...

Peacemaker season 2 follows Chris Smith, the vigilante superhero, as he struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evildoer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost. He discovers an alternate world where life is everything he wishes it could be. But this discovery also forces him to face his traumatic past and take the future into his own hands.

Season 2 stars John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, Sol Rodríguez, David Denman, Brey Noelle, and Tim Meadows.

James Gunn wrote all eight episodes of Peacemaker and directed three, including the first episode. Gunn, Peter Safran, and Cena serve as executive producers. Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Alethea Jones also direct.

In our review of Peacemaker season 2's first five episodes, we wrote, "Peacemaker season 2 feels like a wholly superfluous addition to the new DCU, and lacks the stakes and emotion that made season 1 so special. Fortunately, it’s buoyed by some fun surprises for fans and another exceptional turn from John Cena."

Six episodes of Peacemaker season 2 are now streaming on HBO Max.

@WalletsClosed - I wouldn't be able to answer that, as any answer would be speculation. So, right now, Schrodinger’s cat is both dead and alive. And if your best argument is Character Evidence, spend more time coming up with something better as Kirk’s character isn’t that great either.

But in any case, Floyd never held and robbed a pregnant woman, as far as public knowledge at least. Social media posts aren't a reliable source of news. Spend a little more time verifying your sources. You’re living in the digital age, don't be a grandpa.

And if the story about the penitent and impenitent thieves doesn't guide you to the right path, you're a lost cause. Moses killed someone, and Robert Downey Jr. was in jail for almost 2 years, but what do people remember them for? On average there are more than 25,000 days in a person's life. Can you judge a book of 25,000 pages based on a single sentence?
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 9/26/2025, 5:01 AM
@lazlodaytona - That's funny, you might wanna look up the meaning of the term career criminal. He didn't have a offense in almost 15years past his death and a few of his charges were fabricated and were to be pardoned. I'm sure most people who disrespect his death, even Kirk's for that matter, have done more harm to society than him. At least Floyd changed his ways, people who think its fun to diss murdered victims will only grow to be more awful for years to come. Honestly, I have pity for the people who know these awful beings.

@SpiderParker - I'm not surprised that people on this wretched site would try and defend a man who terrorized a woman just to prove a point.

@WalletsClosed - It's just common decency and empathy to not speak ill of the dead especially when they are murdered wrongfully. And since you absurdly stated a fake information as fact for the 2nd time, the woman was neither pregnant nor abducted or harmed by Floyd. Check your sources. They are as dubious as your thinking. And the guy did his time and changed his ways, if you can't understand the simple fact, I'm afraid you are worse off as a human being than George Floyd or Charlie Kirk. May God have mercy on your wicked soul.

@DraculaX
look, I get what you’re all saying, but to me (not the guy that said that joke), all things said in jest are okay. I made a joke about his death at work and people lost their shit, but the day my mom died, I jokingly grabbed a ouija board and said “this woman has some ex-speen-ing to do” (she died of a ruptured spleen. When my fellow firefighter died in a building collapse, we used our dark humor and made fun of him to help us get through the day. But for some reason a political activist that we’ve never met is off limits?! But my mom and our friend are fair game?! We are wayyyy too polarized right now.

Look, I think anyone who kills someone for a difference of opinion is a monster, and I appreciate that Kirk was trying to get a dialogue going, because that’s what we need... to talk this shit out and figure out a viable option, instead of just screaming at each other and calling the other sides names... but jokes are just that... they’re often a coping mechanism. I don’t know a single person that didn’t think Kirk was too extreme in his rhetoric though either. Even the people who are this worked up about his death. We all need to take a step back, drop the keyboard tough guy stuff and chill a little.

@SpiderParker - Floyd was a POS violent criminal who would have victimized and violated you and any family member you care about given the opportunity.

He had countless arrests and violently robbed a pregnant women. He was also in the process of another crime and resisting arrest when he died. If you think there’s any equivalency between that waste of life and a man of faith who was openly debating indoctrinated collage kids using reason and respect, you’re mentally I’ll or a complete dumbass
Bucky74
Bucky74 - 9/26/2025, 10:01 AM
@WalletsClosed - These mentally I’ll indoctrinated idiots believe the violent thug is morally superior to a family man of faith who debated anyone who wanted to speak respectfully and with reason. The Left are lunatics.

@SpiderParker - Floyd had an extensive criminal record including a violent home invasion where he put his gun to a pregnant women’s stomach. He was unquestionably a POS. Kirk debated indoctrinated kids with respect and reason. You are clueless if you don’t see how far apart those two are

@SpiderParker - "It's just common decency and empathy to not speak ill of the dead especially when they are murdered wrongfully."

Can you point to where I said otherwise. I never made fun of either. But i'm sure you made fun of and even celebrated Kirk's death like many on here. It's not fake information. It's public known information.

@WalletsClosed - what I’m saying is that, while I get that any political assassination is horrible (and to be fair, there are a LOT of people who celebrated it, which is [frick]ing insanity to me-especially when they accuse the right of “selective sympathy” while doing EXACTLY that), people are acting like this is their best friend that died. I dunno...
Like I said, it’s [frick]ing weird to me that people I’ve seen joke about all those things are even acting like Kirk’s death is off limits somehow. I used those exact scenarios and some people FINALLY [frick]ing got what I was trying to say.
I dunno... here’s to hoping we find some kind of middle ground and this shit finally starts to heal... the most common way I know how to do that is through laughter and joking.
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 9/26/2025, 1:28 PM
@Demigods - These people are not joking, they are genuinely disrespecting the dead and calling it justified and deserved. All for political reasons. Jimmy Kimmel was right. The comment he made in jest was accurate, these people are using the deaths of two murdered victims for political gain and have no shame about it. Truly despicable and inhuman acts.
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 9/26/2025, 2:08 PM
@WalletsClosed - Notice how you injected yourself into the conversation when I was pointing out Bucky's hypocrisy regarding Floyd, all the while claiming that he held a pregnant woman hostage and robbed her? That's proof enough for how you are mocking the dead. For the last time, she was neither pregnant nor held hostage by him. Just googling 'Floyd robbery hostage' points you in the right direction. But you would rather throw false accusations at the dead than do the bare minimum of fact-checking, right?

Also, I have never mocked Kirk's death, disrespected him, or called it justified, even though I despise his POV. Had he been alive, I would have mocked his stance and tried to make him see the error in his ways, even if it meant disrespecting him. But he isn't alive, and that's a line people with morals don't cross, a line you people cross with Floyd. But if asked who was a better man upon their death, I wouldn't side with Kirk, especially since Floyd served, repented and mended his ways.

Using the deaths of these two men for political reasons is truly despicable and concerning. This is precisely why America is in its current state. How can you not feel a little bit of guilt or at least be concerned for yourself as a human being when you engage in such behavior?

@Bucky74 - It's pointless arguing with you since you are straight up from Earth X, but I'm sure you will find your answers in my previous comments if you paid attention. However, I also know you will disregard them and pretend like I never mentioned them. So, go ahead and snap your fingers, Bing.

@SpiderParker - Your disgusting projection if off the charts. You aren't fooling anyone. I haven't used anyone's death for shit. I've just made a distinction between 2 very different people. Saying a FACT is not mocking the dead.
