Emilia Clarke's name was brought up several times when the shortlist for the actresses being looked at to play 'Sarah Connor' in Terminator: Genesis were reported, but Deadline now confirms that she's signed on to play the character. It apparently came down to her and Brie Larson, with both actors auditioning for producers. This reunites Clarke with Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor, while it's thought that the actress will be joined by Dawn of the Planet of the Apes star Jason Clarke as 'John Connor' in a storyline which the site says, ""involves a trip into the future." Variety adds that Garrett Hedlund, Nicholas Hoult and Boyd Holbrook are being looked at for 'Kyle Reese'. Arnold Schwarzenegger is also set to return. How do you guys feel about this news?
