LOKI: Upcoming LEGO Minifigure Mystery Bags Reveal Unexpected New Ally For The God Of Mischief - SPOILERS

Later this year, LEGO will launch a series of Minifigures inspired by the Marvel Studios TV shows on Disney+, & one that's based on Loki reveals the God of Mischief will soon meet a new ally in the series.

If you're a LEGO fan, then you'll know that they often release blind bag Minifigures for everything from The LEGO Batman Movie to Harry Potter and Looney Tunes

Well, reliable LEGO leakers have confirmed that a wave based on Marvel Studios' Disney+ TV shows are coming later this year, with characters from WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and What If? However, it's the God of Mischief's Minifigure that is most revealing.

As you can see below, the Loki figure will come bundled with Throg!

In the comic books, Simon Walterson lost his wife and unborn child, turning to mystics, mediums, psychics, and fortune tellers in an effort to communicate with her one final time. Unfortunately, when a witch did help Simon, he couldn't pay and was transformed into a frog for his troubles. Later, he'd come across a sliver of Mjolnir and was transformed into the Mighty Throg.

How much of that origin story will make it into Loki remains to be seen, but this is very exciting and again indicates that the series will take us to some unexpected places in the MCU's Multiverse.

Other characters set to be part of this series include Captain America, The Winter Soldier, Scarlet Witch, White Vision, Monica Rambeau, Lady Loki, Captain Carter, Zombie Captain America, Steve Rogers as Spider-Man, Star-Lord, and Gamora. Hopefully, we'll have some official images to share with you soon.

It's crazy that frog Thor became such an famous part of the character history, reminds me of how many people still remember Guy Gardner getting belted by Batman

Of Throg exists than so does Spider-Ham.

@SonOfAGif - those are two very different things. Throg is our Thor just as a frog. Spider ham is basically porky pig as a superhero.

A short about Thorse, Throg, and Thor, where they tend to an Asgardian tree. They can call it Three's Company.

I really would've figured they were saving Throg for Love and Thunder

Has anyone noticed the reference to Seven? The music that is heard when Loki is in the library?

@Repian - Well, they did say they took inspiration from Se7en so that's cool. Plus, the credits sequence definitely borrows some of Se7en's opening title's aesthetic.
