MS. MARVEL Spoilers: How Last Week's Post-Credits Scene Could Lead To Some Major Changes In The MCU

Last week's episode of Ms. Marvel included a surprise post-credits scene, but that Spider-Man: No Way Home connection may have been even more important to the MCU's future than it initially seemed...

Spider-Man: Homecoming introduced Damage Control, an organisation created by the United States Government and Stark Industries to clean up the messes left behind by Earth's Mightiest Heroes. However, by the time Spider-Man: No Way Home rolled around in the post-Blip MCU, the United States Department of Damage Control had become a whole different beast.

No longer a cleanup crew, Damage Control is now a federal law enforcement agency tasked with apprehending enhanced individuals and seizing dangerous and alien artefacts.

In Ms. Marvel's post-credits scene last Wednesday, we were reintroduced to Agent Cleary, the officer who was tasked with bringing in Peter Parker after his identity as Spider-Man was revealed by Mysterio. Now, he's on the hunt for Kamala Khan alongside Agent Deever, a character we know relatively little about at this stage.

What's intriguing about this is that the new Damage Control appears to have a particular interest in teenage superheroes. They clearly want to apprehend or control them from the moment they emerge, something that's evident from the fact that the organisation is taking aim at Ms. Marvel despite no obvious crimes being commited by Kamala.

Looking to the future, this could explain how the Young Avengers assemble. After all, if there's a government agency hunting them down, why wouldn't they come together as a team? We also wouldn't be remotely surprised if Valentina Allegra de Fontaine is somehow involved as we're sure the woman seemingly assembling the Thunderbolts has a vested interest in powered teens!

Without giving anything away, expect tomorrow's episode to reveal a little more about Damage Control (beyond that, we're just as in the dark as the rest of you).

Check back here tomorrow for more on Ms. Marvel

If it weren't for some reactions and this articles the identity of this guy would have gone over my head because he didn't really had any impact on me, not even when he was interrogating Peter and the rest in No Way Home. He just doesn't have the presence nor effect that Clark Gregg has as Coulson when it comes to these things.
